It is very challenging for my fellow teachers and me. We've been comfortable with the cheap price and facilites we get. Now we have to find other place to stay, move a little far away, even pay more expensive for our room.
Thankfully, The Lord is good.
I write this not because I got a nice and cheap room but because He is.
I have been reading the book of Psalm and get strengthen by The Word, especially when I read on Psalm 107. This chapter begins with a praise for The Lord is good.
Then, from verse 4-9...
Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle. They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
Sounds like my experiment, right?
When I was reading Psalm 107, I found other verses mentioned that they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. I felt relieved when I read it.
I was in trouble, but after reading the Word, I convicted to cry out to the LORD. I hope that he will deliver me from my distress.
When I write this, I still do not know where to move. However, I don't worry anymore about where I will live for the next academic year. I know I can trust Him as I consider His great love. If animals could get their place to stay, how much more am I, whom He has redeemed?
Let us cry to the LORD in our distress and let Him delivers us.
